We Honor Our Veterans
Veterans have served our nation with selfless bravery. Whether in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Iraq War, or any other fight in our history, the Veterans of our Armed Services are the ones who have kept us safe. The Preston Automotive Group family salutes veterans all year long with a $500 veterans discount. During November, every new vehicle purchase acknowledges our heroes by coming with a yellow frog beanie. We also do a per vehicle sold donation that supports our local veterans and military personnel, and on November 11, all veterans receive a free oil change.
Veterans Day was once called Armistice Day to represent an agreement made by opposing sides in a war to stop fighting, a truce. The first celebration of Armistice Day was November 11, 1919, marking the first anniversary of the end of WWI. It was then made an official federal holiday in 1938, and in 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower amended the holiday to include all veterans.
